These mentors guide students in engaging summer and year-long research projects. While not mandatory, an impressive 95% of our medical students, who are primarily focused on clinical practice specialties, choose to undertake a research project as part of their MD program.

Apart from research opportunities for medical students, AUSM offers the esteemed Medical Scientist Training Program (MD/PhD) and eleven PhD programs in biology and biomedical sciences.
